MR. DAOUDA TOURÉ has 39 years of professional experience, and has recently retired as a senior official of the UN System and the African Development Group. Since his retirement, he has been Vice Chairman of Top Two Group, and a pro bono adviser on Peace and Development policy matters.

The African Experts Summit is the largest gathering of African professionals and experts in various fields from around the world. It is designed to mobilise African expertise and knowledge to support Africa’s development agenda.
The Summit which is one of the flagship programmes of the Centre for Strategic African Initiatives is a three-day high-level conference attended by a diverse range of participants including experts, senior government officials, business leaders, parliamentarians, representatives from academia, civil society and the media. The Summit is also considered as the main annual networking event for the members of the African Skills Bank.
The Summit provides a structured platform for participants to share experience and knowledge on how to address specific developmental challenges confronting Africa.The distinctive feature of the Summit is the focus on finding practical solutions to problems, based on the best practice models that have worked successfully in Africa. It demonstrates how different stakeholders at the continental, sub-regional and national levels work together collaboratively to replicate such successful models in Africa.
OPIA MENSAH KUMAH has a career spanning nearly four decades, mostly spent in international development organizations. He has worked and travelled extensively in Africa and other regions of the world.

Dr. Kennedy Kwabena Abrokwa is an Economist and a member of the GIMPA Business School Faculty at GIMPA in Accra. His areas of specialization include market research and business analysis, economic modelling, economic growth and development, taxation
